About Me

Hi, I'm Nea!

I'm a sophomore at Indiana University Indianapolis, where I'm part of the first ever class of Computer Science majors (at IU specifically), and a part of the Honors College.

Upbringing

Growing up, I was homeschooled for most of my life before attending college classes in person for my final portion of high school. In middle school and high school, I participated in the Nazarene Bible Quizzing program, and competed on a national level in memory-related competitions. For a time, my team was so successful that we traveled halfway the country to compete in invitationals, where we were almost universally feared.

Job Experience

I have been working with computers for as long as I can remember. Professionally, I have been a part-time software engineer at Our Sunday Visitor since the beginning of 2024, and did a summer internship there at 15. In addition, between 2021 and 2024, I created and sold a successful independent software company of my own, where I focused on creating beautiful user experiences in areas of the industry not traditionally known for them.
